The early years of Skip Summer's life were spent in Michigan divided between the Detroit suburb of Grosse Pointe and the picturesque town of Harbor Springs in northern Michigan.
After graduating High School in 1994 Skip moved to Aspen Colorado where he worked as a property manager for Aspen Club Properties. In 1996 he moved to Palm Beach Gardens Florida and continued to work in the hospitality industry studying hotel and restaurant management at Northwood University before opening the Hibiscus restaurant where he served as managing partner.
In 2004 he felt it was a time for a change, so he decided to pursue a career in real estate. After obtaining his real estate license he went to work for Ecclestone Signature Homes, premier custom home builder in Palm Beach County. There he served as sales manager for the Estates at Botanica.
