John Deakin is originally from Fairfield County, Connecticut where he lived until moving to Florida in 1982.

After graduating from the University of Bridgeport, he served in the U.S. Army for two years. He worked as a helicopter pilot for many years doing various flying operations - oil rigs in the Gulf to power lines in New York.

John has worked in the real estate business for 30 years selling both commercial and residential. He has several designations including GRI, CRS and CIPS.

One of the reasons for moving to Florida was the spectacular weather and his love of the water. In his free time, John enjoys fishing, scuba diving and exploring the Bahamas.
