Juno Beach real estate and waterfront property now allows for easy access to the 578-acre Juno Dunes Natural Area with the opening of its new docks. With the completion of the $2.1 million project, boaters and outdoor enthusiasts alike can enjoy the concrete floating docks, wooden boardwalk, hiking trails, and two-story observation tower. Non boat owners can also take advantage of the new island destination via water taxis from Peanut Island, Jupiter, West Palm Beach, DuBois Park, and Snook Island.

Juno Dunes Natural Area is home to a wide range of wildlife including gopher tortoises, blue herons, otters, coyotes, and bobcats. The island is covered with native and exotic plants and truly showcases Florida’s natural environment.

Waterfront homes for sale in Juno Beach benefit from the new docks as well. Now, owners can navigate their vessels to Juno Dunes and spend the day exploring, hiking, or just taking in the beautiful scenery. Previously, boat owners would have to make the voyage down to Peanut Island in West Palm Beach.
